Wine lovers are invited to join Steve Doerner and the crew of James Henry River Journeys for an outstanding river, wine tasting and culinary adventure. Savory wines carefully chosen by Steve, the winemaker of Cristom Vineyards, will complement each evenings entres.
Steve will illuminate us about his style of winemaking as we taste his elegant and subtle Pinot Noirs, refreshing Pinot Gris, rich and balanced Syrahs, and intriguing Viogniers.
Violinist and her guitar/recorder accompanist Jim Oakden will warm your evenings along the Rogue playing Renaissance and Baroque duets and some lively Celtic arrangements.
The Rogue is an enchanting haunt: a vibrant and luxuriant and river that winds gracefully through the richly-forested Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon.
It is an ideal river for novices as well as experienced river runners.
